2nd Irish-Russian Chamber Music Festival in Moscow

Olga Solovieva and RTE Vanbrugh Quartet in Kremlin (Armory Chamber)

From 30 October to 5 November Olga Solovieva participated in 2nd Irish-Russian Chamber Music Festival. The concerts took place in Moscow Kremlin (Armory Chamber) and Irina Arkhipova Foundation. Olga played piano quintets by John Field, Dmitry Shostakovich (with RTE Vanbrugh Quartet), pieces for flute and piano by Andrey Golovin and Éamonn Ó Gallchobhair (with William Dowdall), and songs from "Irish Idylle" by Charles Villiers Stanford.

The CD with the music of Boris Tchaikovsky, recorded by Christopher Marwood, Haik Kazazyan and Olga Solovieva, is nominated to the 2019 International Classical Music Awards (ICMA).

Two CDs from Naxos and Toccata Classics

Two CDs with Olga Solovieva's recordings appeared in July and August 2018.

The first came the CDs with the chamber pieces by Boris Tchaikovsky (Naxos) - Olga Solovieva plays Cello Sonata and Piano Trio with Christopher Marwood (cello) and Haik Kazazyan (violin).

Then in August the CD with Complete works for violin and piano by Vissarion Shebalin was released (Toccata Classics), with the recordings made by Olga Solovieva with Sergey Kostylev (violin).
